Just a short reminder regarding the forth coming Friday Night Under lights.  

 

We have tried our best to select dates that avoid the most conflict.  

 

As you will note that the three dates are on the eve of the 6 Nation games.

A great way to start the weekend.  

 

 

Friday Night Under Lights in the South of Hampshire - Dates: 

• 9^thFebruary – Eastleigh RFC  
• 23^rd February – Millbrook RFC
• 16^thMarch – Venue TBC

Friday Night Under Lights in the North of Hampshire - Dates: 

• 9^th February –Aldershot & Fleet RFC
• 23^rd  February –Basingstoke
• 16^th March – Venue TBC

Timing for the evening:

• Arrival - any time after 1800
• Briefing 1845
• Games commencing at about 1915 

Format of the Evening:  It is a relaxed format that allows for the rules to be adapted to the ability and fitness of the players.  E.g. Contested or Uncontested scrums, Contested or Uncontested lineouts; etc. these rules are decided between both teams before the start of each game.  This ensures competitive which caters for all ages and abilities.

 

Pint & Food:  On completion complementary food and a beer from the host club & Hampshire RFU will be provided for all players

 

Referees / Medical:  Games will be refereed by the England Rugby Development team and a qualified first aider / physio will be in attendance

 

Entries:  If you wish to participate at the Eastleigh event would you be good enough to confirm

no later than 1200 Wednesday 7^thFebruary
