  1. Hurricanes Rugby Club (for children and adults with Learning Disabilities) - Sponsorship:

The Hurricanes is a rugby club for children and adults with Learning Disabilities.

Based at Eastleigh RFC, they have 30 members ranging from 7 to 27 years old.  The club are run entirely by volunteers and are totally reliant upon fundraising and sponsorship. 2017/18 is the Hurricanes 10th season. Unfortunately they have no sponsor and are hoping that you can help.   Any donation would be gratefully received but ideally they are looking for a sponsor to come on board and support the club for an extended period.    For further information please click here or contact Matt Harvey direct This email address is being protected from spambots. 4.       Governance Information for Clubs:

Governance has become an increasingly important issue that rugby union clubs have to address. This is due to examples of compliance requirements (legal & insurance), poor management, financial failure, and to maximise the opportunity of public funding resulting in a need for better sports administrative structures.

Guidance and information on good club governance for your club is readily available atwww.englandrugby.com/governance and includes health checks, guides, and templates.

A good starting point is to complete theRFU Good Club Governance Health Check.
