County Under 17s - Nomination for Trial
Schools and Clubs are invited to nominate players to attend trials for this season Under 17 County Squad. Trials are open to boys born between 1st September 1999 and 31st August 2000.
The player should either:
                                  a)  Live in Hampshire
                                  b)  Attend a school in Hampshire
                                  c)  Be a member of a Hampshire Club
Details of the trial are on the attached letter that should be sent to the parent/guardian.
Players should be nominated for 1 position only although there may be an opportunity to play in another if they reach the final trial.
Players should have excellent core skills and should consistently stand out from their peers when playing matches against strong opposition.
To ensure the highest standard of players and to avoid unnecessary disappointment please be selective in your choices and try to limit the number of nominations to 4.
We are looking to select the top 3 in the county for each position.
Some schools/Clubs will not have players of the required County standard and should not therefore nominate any players.
Too many nominations make it very difficult to select the right players.
We would strongly recommend that Club/school squads are assessed by a County representative or Coaching Coordinator who is independent of this age group. This will reduce the number of players who are not of the required standard.
To ensure that players have been nominated from recognized sources can you please
email me a copy of their nomination form, click here for the Nomination form.
All nominations should be received by Friday 25th November 2016.
Without a nomination from  the player will not be allowed to trial
