1. CLUB HAMPSHIRE: U13 Developing Player Programme Trial – 30th/31st August @ HMS Temeraire


Club Hampshire are holding a Hampshire Development Squad Trial at HMS Temeraire Burnaby Road Portsmouth facility on August 30th and 31st  2016 from 1830 hrs until about 2000hrs.


Clubs and Schools should only nominate up to a max of 5 candidates, unless they have prior agreement with the Rugby Director.

Schools should only nominate from non Club players please.


All Nominees from Clubs or Schools MUST preregister at the Latest by 23rd  August 2016 for assessment by email to:

**Anybody nominated who is on holiday, or not able to attend due to school closures will be given the opportunity to trial at a centre in September.


Once Preregistered the candidates will NOT hear anything else unless the venue or times change and are just to turn up at the above location.

2. Age Grade Guidance Document:  


With the season shortly upon us I have attached the Age Grade Guidance document that should act as an excellent reference point for all coaches, managers and volunteers working withplayers from U7-18. 

I encourage you all to familiarise yourself with this document as it will answer may questions that you or your players / parents might have: Some examples are below:

c.       Playing season and rest recommendations

d.      Tours

e.      Summer Camps



3.    Play It Safe Course: 

 Find below information regarding two play it Safe courses that have been organised for the New Forest Cluster.

4. NEW RFU Legal & Tax Helpline : 

The RFU has arranged helplines for clubs to obtain free advice on any legal or tax related matter, as well as online support for the creation of standard contracts and legal documents.

RFU clubs are provided with online support for the creation of legal documents. This service allows clubs to draft your own legal documents instantly, simply by answering a series of easy-


to-answer questions. Many documents are available free of charge, and include such things as:

·         Website privacy policy
·         Health and safety policy creator
·         Agreement for the supply of goods
·         Debt collection letter
