They can be found under the new Safeguarding tab under the sub tab 1st Aid Advice

Please use these forms to report the concussion to Hampshire RFU.

You can continue to use the forms attached to the ‘Headcase in Hampshire’ document for your first aid kits/to inform parents if you wish.

5.       Pack to Family Project:  Pack to Family Project has been busy with many different areas across the country. Throughout the 6 Nations they brought together former Pack members to assist with the spectator experience at Twickenham Stadium.

Jake Slade has also assisted with providing volunteers for smaller tournaments across the country.  Following this success he would like to hear about any tournaments- mini’s, Juniors or 7’s, whatever the ability or level as he would love to help.  He has a host of volunteers on his data base eager to assist with planning or on-the-day running of events.
Hemel Hempstead played host to the Hertfordshire Under 11’s and 12’s County Tournament two weeks ago- Quentin- Volunteer Coordinator from Hemel worked hard on advertising the event to Pack members and had 10 extra volunteers to assist with a number of roles across the tournament operation.
Please contact Jake This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  with the following information on tournaments in your area:

6.       Nutrition advice for Young Rugby Players:  As part of the support for young rugby players take a look and share thewww.foodforrugby.org site. It is designed to give young rugby players in schools, clubs and colleges the foundations of good nutrition. The concept was developed through the partnership we are developing with a number of established rugby players’ schools, to support players to take a ‘food first approach’ to their diet.
Content includes information on pre-match and recovery, getting the right hydration, and some ideas for shopping and menu choices. The ’10 nutrition commandments’ outline the basics of a good diet, with the science behind also highlighted. There is a mini quiz to test your knowledge and share through social media. The content strongly backs up the Rugby Football Union’s ‘food first approach’ for all its players, especially those of school age.
The content has been developed by Liverpool John Moores University in conjunction with the Rugby Football Union. LJM’s also provide practical advice and develop the nutritional content for the England age grade and senior teams, providing a consistent message across the game.
There are two ways to access the content, which has been designed to be viewed across a number of devices, but best viewed on a hand held device.
