Ed Grinsted will captain Hampshire’s U18 side to play Middlesex U18 this Sunday, 25th October, in the first of the London & SE Division 2015 County matches.
Although Hampshire beat Berkshire 17-5 earlier in the season they are under no illusions as to the challenge facing them.
These games are used to identify possible candidates for Divisional honours and the standard is invariably high.
The Berkshire game showed that Hampshire can produce some exciting back play but management of the final pass under pressure will have to improve.
