Former County player Joe Batley makes his England Under 20s debut and Joe Marchant continues his successful run in the side when they face Ireland tomorrow night (Friday 26th) at Donnybrook Stadium in Dublin writes Brian Seeney.

Head Coach Jon Callard has made six changes from the side that beat Italy 61-0 with former Gosport & Fareham player Batley one of six debutants.

Batley (pictured) has twice come off the substitute's bench in the previous 6 Nations games while former County team-mate Joe Marchant (ex-Winchester RFC and now Harlequins) continues in the centre after a try hat-trick in the Italy game.

Ireland currently lead the 6 Nations table, with two wins from two, and Callard is aware of the task in hand.

He said: "Playing Ireland in Ireland will be a huge test – it's one of the biggest in rugby. And from what we've seen they are a very good, physical side with lots of pace. But we're excited by that, we've got pace in our side and on the 4G pitch it should make for a great spectacle.

"We've had an excellent week training, and although we have had to be patient regarding the availability of a couple of players, it's great experience for our guys."

The game is live on Sky Sports with a 7.05pm kick off.
