Hampshire RFU will focus on 4 primary awards for this season

• Unsung Hero
• Administrator of the Year
• Young Volunteer of the Year
• Coach of the Year

Nominations for the Unsung Hero, Administrator and Young Volunteer awards will be provided by the RDO's & CRC's based on their close contacts with their Clubs.

Clubs are also invited to submit nominations and they will be combined with the RDO & CRC input for consideration by the selection panel.

This panel will consist of The HRFU Community Chair and HRFU Executive Director, The HRFU Volunteer coordinator and the RDO's.

The nominees that do not get selected for the 3 primary awards will receive RFU Volunteer Recognition Certificates and a RFU Volunteer Tie or Scarf/Mirror compact.

Hampshire will hold sufficient stock of these and will distribute to the Clubs concerned for presentation within the Club, by the Club.

The Hampshire RFU Coach of the year award will be managed by the Coaching Advisory Group for presentation at the Annual Coaching Conference.

The process will be similar to the process for the other awards with nominations being put forward from the same group, BUT the final decision will be left with the Coaching Advisory Group.

The recognition awards process will start in December - now.

Nominations from the RDO's, CRC's Community Chair, Community Volunteer Rep and the Clubs will be reviewed and finalised the end of January, with a decision made in February.

Nominations will be asked for via the December Weekly RDO Handout information sheets.

Nominations are to be provided in e-mail form and sent to the County Office for central filing pending the nominations review and selection of the 3 Awards. The Coach nominations are to be passed to the Coaching Advisory Group for assessment.
