Note: Delivery of the Codes ensures a focus on the wants and needs of the Age Grade player. They ensure that every player, regardless of ability, maturity or size, develops not only their rugby skills, but wider personal and social skills, increasing their enjoyment and supporting their transition to the adult game.
The Code provides support and guidance to coaches and teachers in:
The Codes of Practice are designed to create a more helpful and supportive tone between the RFU and those working hard across Age Grade Rugby. They support the application of regulation and replace previous guidance documents and it is our intention that everyone who delivers the Age Grade game feels compelled to commit to them.
We want all Coaches and Teachers to commit to being ‘in’? Are you?
This is an extreme long shot but worth a try .... the Farnham Minis Section are touring Dorset on 17 / 18 March 2018 (based in Warmwell, near Weymouth). We have made contact with Dorset clubs who are happy to accommodate us for Saturday rugby, but none who can muster opposition for us to play on that day.
If any of you happen to be touring Dorset on the same weekend and are in a similar situation regarding Saturday rugby, please get in touch. RorieThis email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Following the success of last year where we heard the views of over 20,000 individuals, the National Rugby Survey opens again.
http://surveys.tell-us-what-you-think.com/s3/NRS-2017
This National Survey is vital for England Rugby to gather insight from everyone involved in the game which helps to develop and review our game and our rugby offer. This survey is open to everyone involved, or previously involved in the game, from players and lapsed players, to coaches, match officials, volunteers, spectators and parents. This survey now includes the Age Grade player survey and will ask all respondents on their rugby interactions, motivation and views.
In the coming days you will see specific communications targeting the number of different groups involved in the game to encourage their completion as well as the survey link. Please support the National Rugby Survey by completing this survey to help develop our game as a result
