2.      England Rugby Deals

EnglandRugbyDeals can help clubs save money on their overheadsutilities and consumables

There are ready made deals available for rugby clubs to use to cut down on club costs.

Deals such as Print, Washroom Services, Janitorial, Waste, Medical Supplies, Travel and Telecoms.

However, saving money is not just about the best price, it can also be about changing spending habits.

EnglandRugbyDeals can arrange a visit to discuss cost-saving at individual clubs.  During this visit the club can participate in a saving analysis.

This exercise has proven to be very worthwhile for many, with approximately 80 clubs taking part so far.

If clubs would like to arrange a visit or would like more information, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or ring 01283 711551

To use the deals or to arrange a visit, the club would need to be a member.  If clubs would like to join EnglandRugbyDeals please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., inserting "I would like to join" in the subject line.

5.      Friday Night Under Lights:

Although it was disappointing to postpone the first Friday Night under lights, it is pleasing to receive positive interest again from several clubs: Millbrook, Tottonians, and a ‘Masters’ Ba Ba team have confirmed.  Excellent news.

I also understand that Southampton RFC might have a few players and that the event might provide an opportunity for Stoneham RFC  to give some players who have not had much game time a run out.

The rescheduled event will be held at Millbrook RFC on Friday 25th November commencing at 1900 -2100

A free pint and food is still on the cards for all who attend.

Format:  The aim of the evening is to de regulate / dumb down the rules and provided appropriate competition depending on the number and ability of those players involved.

Squad Size:  If possible a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 15-18

Rules:  Rules of the game will be amended to accommodate 7-10 players on the pitch at any one time.

Games will be played on half a pitch.  Rolling subs will be encouraged and rules will be implemented to ensure a level playing field for teams participating.

Competition Co-ordinator: Rules and timings for the games will be confirmed and circulated by Mark Randell ahead of the event and once all entries have been received.  The first game will start at 1900 and the playing time will finish no later than 2100, to allow plenty of time for banter with the opposition and team mates over a well-earned beer!
