Four Hampshire "Old" boys were part of the England Students development squad that faced their French counterparts in Leeds on the 20th March.
The ex-Hampshire players involved were Robbie Keith - ex-Romsey now at Birmingham Uni, James Doe - ex-Havant now at Exeter Uni, Rhodri Adamson - ex-Winchester now at Newcastle Uni and Alex "Scrappy" Wilcockson - ex-Havant now at Exeter Uni.
England lost narrowly 15-22, but came back well from a 5-16 deficit at half-time with scores from Wilcockson (try) and Adamson (pen) adding to the English total.
Luke Peters - ex-Portsmouth and now Leeds Beckett Uni, would also have been involved, but a broken leg just after his previous run-out for England Students has cut his season short.
All are graduates of the "Hampshire Way" via local clubs, schools and age group squads.
The County is proud of their achievements and wish them good luck on the next stage of the rugby journey, with selection for remaining games against France and Wales the next target for the players.
